Motorola anuncia al tablet Android Motorola XOOM en España
Motorola anunció el lanzamiento del Motorola XOOM en España, que estará disponible a partir de Agosto en las tiendas de El Corte Inglés. "Motorola XOOM es el parámetro para Android 3.0 y lo que necesita ser una experiencia de tablet. Diseñada desde cero con los usuarios en mente, ahora con una versión 3G, provee formas adicionales de conectarse con amigos, divertirse y mantenerse productivo en movimiento", aseguró Juan Carlos de la Vela, Director de Motorola Mobility España.
Llamativamente, Motorola anuncia al XOOM con Android 3.0, cuando en otras partes del mundo ya está actualizando el tablet a Android 3.2. De todos modos, es probable que la actualización esté disponible en poco tiempo también en España. El Motorola XOOM tendrá un precio de 599 euros sin contrato.

The first device to run on Android™ 3.0, Honeycomb, Motorola XOOM features a dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, front-facing and rear-facing cameras, true multi-tasking functionality and the latest Google™ mobile services on a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display. Motorola XOOM will be available from 599€ (without contract) (MSRP).

Motorola XOOM Features
Motorola XOOM delivers exceptionally fast performance with its dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. The tablet showcases the innovations of the Honeycomb user experience – including an interactive, customizable homes creen with moveable widgets, notifications and tabbed web browsing – on a 10.1-inch 1280x800 widescreen HD display, enabling video content that’s richer and clearer than ever before. Support for HDMI enables viewing of videos and movies on larger screens, such as HD televisions. A 5MP rear-facing camera captures HD video, and a 2MP front-facing camera enables clear video chats using Google Talk™.
The latest Google Mobile services include Google Maps™ 5.0 with 3D interaction and access to over 250,000 apps from Android Market™. Motorola XOOM also supports Adobe® Flash® Player 10.2, downloadable from Android Market, enabling the delivery of rich Flash-based Web content including videos, games and rich Internet applications.
Motorola XOOM also features a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting. The tablet supports up to 10 hours of video playback and charges in half the time of some competitive tablets on the market1.
